How to Add Coupons to Your Safeway Card

1. Free! The electronic coupon program known as "Just for U" is free. Free is everyone's favorite price.
2. No clipping! You don't have to spend hours every Sunday clipping out coupons to use at the grocery store.
3. It is user friendly. If you can use email you can add coupons to your card.
4. Easy to print list of coupons. Safeway's website has a link to print the list of coupons you have added to your account so you don't have to play a memorization game.
5. Stackable Most Safeway stores allow you to stack the electronic "Just for U" coupons with manufacturer coupons AND in store sales.

When beginning your online couponing adventure you must have a Safeway account. If you already have an online account you can log in and skip ahead to Step 2. To create an account go to Safeway's website and click on "Register Now" at the very top of the page. Fill out the required information such as Safeway Card Number or telephone number that is used at check out, email address, create a password, security question, zip code, and agreement to terms and conditions of use. Voila! You now have a bona fide Safeway online account. Log into your account and the next step will show you how to save.

Click the "Just for U" link in the top left on the navigation bar. Here you will find your home page for savings. From that point you will click on "Coupon Center" this will forward you to an area that you can add coupons onto your card.

Now that you are in, you may add coupons to your card by clicking the red "+Add" button under any coupon you wish to add. Take special note of the expiration as well as limits. After you have sorted through the pages of coupons and added the ones that you are interested in you can go to the "Print/Email" button where you are able to print a grocery list for yourself. Take it with you at the store and you are all set. Let the savings begin!
